Self Portrait Project
Project description
In this project, I went into a photo editing app and combined all the pictures I found that show me in the places I love. Using a combined tool I set all of the pictures in certain areas to make a cool look and show symbols of my passion for biking.

Artist Statement
When I think of myself symbolically, I think of a simple easy going person who enjoys the outdoors so I made sure to keep the portrait simple and just show me in my element doing what I love most. On my bike when Im in the air I feel free and happy so I visually included the photo of me on the trail "banana peel" in winter park colorado.

Project description: I started out with a first draft to gain a main idea of what I wanted to do. I started out with no color to make sure I didn't make anything I didn't want. Some symbols and imagery I used was contrast and a bit of messing around with the stroke. I made sure to make it look a bit dark to portray the theme of what Vaping can do to you. The critique really helped me refine my piece. Most of my feedback was about recommendation for how it could look better.
Project Reflection: I feel good about the outcome of my project. I feel I portrayed the meaning well even though the drawing wasn't the greatest. If i was to do things differently I would use an editing app because I would be able to produce a more refined piece.

Teacher Creature:
Project Description: In this project I photoshopped my biology teacher, Farkas, on Fat Thor from Avengers Endgame. Using the many amazing tools in Adobe Photoshop I was able to add a National Forest sign and a Canadian Flag.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
PROJECT REFLECTIONWrite about your growth within Photoshop this semester here
- In this project I went into adobe Photoshop and Photoshopped our biology teachers face on "Fat Thor" from Avengers Endgame. My first step was to crop Thor out of the original photo he was in. I did this using the "mask" tool. My second step was to go take specific pictures of our teacher and shoot a photo that would fit with how Thor was sitting. After finding the right photo I blended our teachers face into Thor's face using the refine edge tool and opacity tool. Next, I added a mountainous background to fit our teachers liking of the mountains. I then proceeded to add extras like the National Forest sign and, the Canadian Flag in the background.

- At the beginning of the semester I did not have a good understanding of photoshop and couldn't do barely anything.
- I feel really proud of my project and what i've done in Photoshop. I felt I put all of my effort into this project and feel very accomplished with the outcome.
- If I were to do this again I would try to combine more teachers into my project because it would've lengthened my knowledge of photoshop, and would've been funnier.
